The 2023 Eisteddfod took place in March and 8 Pontypool schools participated.  The winners were as follows:

Foundation Phase -

1st - Griffithstown Primary School  44 points

2nd - Ygol Bryn Onnen - 42 points

Key Stage 2 

1st - Griffithstown Primary School - 82 points

2nd - George Street Primary School - 64 points
