Pontypool Community Council - Date of Next Meeting

All meetings start at 6.30pm (unless stated otherwise) and are held in our Council Chamber at 35a Commercial Street, Pontypool.
The next Committee meeting will be Policy and Finance which will take place on Wednesday 5th September 2018 at 6.30pm.
Chairman's Charities cheque presentation
Councillor Nick Byrne was Pontypool Community Council's Chairman for 2017/18.
Councillor Byrne raised funds for the following charitites:
Parkinsons UK, Lincoln's Legs, TOGS and Families need Fathers Both Parents Matter Cymru.
Earlier today Councillor Byrne presented the cheques to representatives from each charity.

Grants Presentation Evening
Pontypool Community Council held its annual Grants Presentation Evening on Thursday 19th July 2018 at Trevethin Workingmen's Club.
The Council gave out over £16,000 in grants to 27 organisations.
Poet of Pontypool 2018
On Thursday 12th July Pontypool Community Council hosted it's annual Poet of Pontypool presentation evening. 8 Junior finalists and 9 senior finalists attended and recited their entries before the winners were announced.
The winner of the Adult section was Mr Stanley Bruce Jones.
