 The Council is seeking a new internal auditor for 2020/21 (if successful there would be a 3 year contract with an opportunity to extend.)

Photo competition results 2019:

 The Council held a photo competition earlier this year and the theme was History and Heritage of Pontypool.  

The results were as follows:

1st Place

2nd Place

Mr Ian Gilbert



 3rd Place

 Mr Yoan Jones


  Well done to all who submitted entries. 



 Tree of the year competition

Pontypool  Park's Sweet Chestnut tree has  won the Woodland Trust's tree of the year competition and the prize is £1000 that needs to be spent on the tree.

The tree is a Sweet Chestnut which is located in Pontypool Park and is over 400 years old.
